Role Overview:


We are seeking a seasoned and visionary Associate Business Head / Business Head to lead one of the worlds largest heavy engineering and manufacturing facilities.


The role will be responsible for driving strategic growth, operational excellence, financial performance, and global competitiveness across Heavy Engineering, Fabrication, EPC, Marine, and large-scale manufacturing operations.


The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in large project execution, commercial management, business expansion, and operational transformation, along with the ability to manage complex long-cycle projects in a high-value industrial environment.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership & Business Growth:


- Define and execute the organizations long-term business vision, growth strategy, and operational roadmap


- Drive sustainable growth, profitability, and market leadership across heavy engineering and EPC businesses


- Identify and develop new business opportunities, industry segments, and strategic partnerships


- Strengthen organizational positioning through:


- Technology adoption


- Operational excellence


- Cost leadership


- Quality and delivery differentiation


P&L & Financial Management:


Own complete P&L responsibility including:


- Revenue growth


- Profitability


- Cash flow management


- Working capital optimization


- Ensure disciplined capital allocation and strong financial governance


- Drive cost optimization, productivity improvement, and operational efficiency initiatives


- Manage relationships with:


- Banks


- Financial institutions


- Insurers


- Investors and strategic stakeholders


Project & Operations Leadership:


- Lead execution of large-scale Heavy Engineering, Fabrication, EPC, Marine, and industrial manufacturing projects


- Ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality delivery of projects


- Establish robust project governance frameworks, milestone tracking, and performance monitoring systems


- Resolve critical execution challenges related to:


- Engineering


- Procurement


- Workforce management


- Subcontractors


- Supply chain and logistics


- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in:


- Modular construction


- Productivity enhancement


- Project controls


- Manufacturing efficiency


Business Development & Commercial Excellence:


- Lead acquisition of large domestic and international contracts and long-term strategic projects


Oversee:


- Bid strategy


- Commercial modelling


- Pricing strategies


- Contract negotiations


- Risk assessment and mitigation


- Maintain a balanced and profitable order book across multiple business segments


Governance, Compliance & Innovation:


- Reinforce transparency, governance, and operational accountability across the organization


- Ensure compliance with:


- IMO regulations


- Classification society standards


- Industry and customer specifications


- Promote R&D, innovation, and adoption of sustainable and environmentally responsible technologies


- Drive digital transformation and modernization initiatives within manufacturing and project

operations


Required Skills & Experience:


- 2026 years of experience in:


- Heavy Engineering


- EPC


- Fabrication


- Marine / Shipbuilding


- Industrial Manufacturing


- Proven leadership experience managing large-scale engineering and manufacturing operations


- Strong expertise in:


- P&L management


- Project execution


- Business expansion


- Commercial and contract management


- Operational transformation


- Demonstrated success in securing and executing high-value domestic and international projects


- Strong understanding of:


- Long-cycle industrial projects


- EPC commercial models


- Project risk management
