Position Overview: As the Associate Vice President of Pricing, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing the pricing strategy and operations of the company. Your primary goal will be to maximize revenue and profitability while ensuring the company remains competitive in the market. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, Delivery/Operations and will be a key representative form the finance team , to develop and implement effective pricing strategies and tactics. Key Responsibilities: Pricing Strategy Development: - Develop and execute pricing strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives. - Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify pricing opportunities and threats. - Monitor industry trends and customer behavior to adjust pricing strategies accordingly. - Establish pricing policies and guidelines that align with the company's value proposition and target market segments. Pricing Analysis and Optimization: - Analyze pricing data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and growth. - Utilize pricing analytics to optimize pricing decisions and increase profitability. - Identify opportunities to implement price differentiation strategies based on product/service features, customer segments, and geographies. Cross-functional Collaboration: - Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to understand customer needs and market dynamics. - Partner with finance to analyze pricing impacts on revenue and profitability. - Work with product management to align pricing with product lifecycles and features. Pricing Execution and Monitoring: - Ensure accurate and timely pricing implementation across all sales channels and regions. - Monitor pricing compliance and address any deviations or issues promptly. - Implement pricing software and tools to streamline pricing processes and analytics. Pricing Governance and Compliance: - Ensure pricing strategies and practices comply with legal and regulatory requirements. - Monitor industry pricing policies and changes and adapt the company's strategies accordingly. Team Leadership and Development: - Lead and mentor a team of pricing analysts and specialists. - Provide guidance and support to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. Qualifications and Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in business, economics, finance, or a related field; CA / MBA or advanced degree preferred. - Proven experience in pricing strategy development and execution in a leadership role. - Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to make informed pricing decisions. - Deep understanding of market dynamics, pricing models, and revenue management. - Good Exposure to BPO / KPO industry is mandatory - Knowledge of pricing software and tools. - Excellent communication and presentation skills. - Strong leadership abilities and experience managing teams. - Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. - Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements related to pricing.
