A National Key Account Manager for an insurance company managing a bank in a bancassurance channel is responsible for the strategic development, retention, and growth of the insurance business through the bank partnership across all territories.
Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Partnership Management: Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with senior stakeholders at the bank to ensure alignment with mutual business objectives and sustained partnership growth.
- Sales Target Achievement: Drive achievement of assigned revenue and business targets across the bank's branches, ensuring consistent and compliant sales delivery for all insurance products.
- Business Development: Formulate and execute strategies to increase market share, penetration, and product mix within the bank, including identification and pursuit of new business opportunities.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure timely policy issuance, coordinate with internal teams for smooth onboarding and servicing, and address operational challenges to deliver high-quality customer service.
- Channel Partner Engagement: Conduct regular meetings, reviews, and feedback sessions with the bank's sales teams to monitor performance, provide training, address queries, and enhance engagement.
- Compliance & Reporting: Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, participate in risk mitigation, and deliver timely, accurate reporting on business metrics to senior management.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Liaise with marketing teams for campaign execution, work with product and underwriter teams for bespoke solutions, and coordinate with claims and servicing for end-to-end client satisfaction.
- Renewal & Retention: Implement retention strategies to maintain portfolio quality and renewal rates, mitigating lapses and ensuring business continuity
