Role Overview
The Associate Vice President - Industrial & Warehousing Leasing will be responsible for driving leasing strategy, tenant acquisition, and portfolio optimization for company's industrial and logistics assets. The role demands a deep understanding of the industrial and warehousing ecosystem, tenant requirements, and market trends, with a strong focus on relationship management and deal execution.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement leasing strategies for company's industrial and warehousing portfolio across multiple locations.
- Drive business development by identifying and engaging with potential occupiers (3PLs, e-commerce, FMCG, auto, manufacturing, and logistics companies).
- Manage end-to-end leasing cycle including client acquisition, negotiations, term sheet finalization, and closure.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Design, Projects, Legal, and Finance teams) to ensure smooth transaction execution and handover.
- Track market intelligence, competitor activities, and emerging demand hubs to guide asset planning and pricing.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with IPCs, tenant representatives, and key decision-makers in occupier organizations.
- Support leadership in building the company's Industrial brand presence through participation in industry events, forums, and client presentations.
- Ensure portfolio health through tenant retention initiatives and proactive engagement with existing occupiers.
- Drive MIS reporting, leasing dashboards, and performance metrics for internal reviews.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 10-15 years of relevant experience in industrial, logistics, or warehousing leasing.
- Education: MBA / Postgraduate in Business, Real Estate, or related field preferred.
- Industry Exposure: Deep understanding of the warehousing and industrial real estate ecosystem, including occupier requirements, lease structures, and market dynamics.
