Associate Vice President/General Manager - Finance - CA

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced finance professional for the role of AVP / GM Finance.

The ideal candidate should be a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with strong expertise in core Finance & Accounting operations, taxation, statutory compliance, and financial governance.

This is a senior leadership role requiring hands-on involvement in accounting operations, financial controls, audit management, and process improvement initiatives. The position is operationally focused and not centered on FP&A or MIS reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and oversee end-to-end Finance & Accounting operations

- Manage Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and General Ledger activities

- Ensure accurate bookkeeping, ledger scrutiny, reconciliations, and financial reporting

- Drive month-end and year-end closing processes

- Ensure compliance with GST, Income Tax, TDS, and other statutory regulations

- Coordinate and manage internal and external audits

- Strengthen financial controls, governance, and compliance frameworks

- Work extensively on SAP HANA and support process automation/improvement initiatives

- Monitor cash flow, banking transactions, and treasury-related activities

- Partner with business stakeholders to ensure smooth financial operations

- Mentor and guide finance team members while ensuring operational efficiency

Candidate Requirements:

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) is mandatory

- 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in core Finance & Accounting

- Strong hands-on experience in taxation, accounting operations, audits, and compliances

- Working knowledge of SAP HANA is preferred

- Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills

- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
