About the Role

Will be part of Finance function and will report to the CFO. He will lead a team of operational finance professionals.

Team Reporting to this role - Operations and Plant Finance

Reports to - CFO

Job Objective & Key Interactions

- Should manage finance Operations independently

- Should independently handle book closing process and finalize financials, nuance of imports and exports.

- Should work on material consumption, inventory, fixed assets, and plant accounting.

- ERP implementation and process improvements.

- Will be instrumental in getting books audited.

- Work and improve on internal audit observations and controls.

- Should be defining new processes and gearing up the organization for future.

- Should handle tax compliance and governance

Skills / Knowledge / Certifications

- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills are essential

- Any Professional additional global certifications relevant to the role from well-regarded Institutes of repute / associations or equivalent

- Strong understanding of GAAP requirements

- Work experience in large manufacturing companies

- If worked in a listed company, will have added advantages.

- Should be willing to work in dynamic and changing environment.

- Good understanding to work on ERP is required.

- Needs to be good at excel usage and ppt.

- Ability to explain numbers with proper analysis and justification

- Ability to managing compliance of TAX, RBI and other statutory requirements for a legal entity

Education Experience -

- Professionally qualified CA / ICWA / CPA or equivalent degree from well-regarded institutes

- Minimum of 10 -15 years of Post-Qualification experience in managing operations finance within Plant / Manufacturing large companies.

- Having experience of working with start-ups and grown in making them Unicorns would be an advantage

- Should have independently handle book closing process and finalize financials.

- Should understand nuance of imports and exports.

- An exposure on material consumption, inventory, fixed assets, and plant accounting is required.

- Have worked on ERP implementation and process improvements.

- Exposure on exports accounting and export compliance will help.

- Will be instrumental in getting books audited.

- Work and improve on internal audit observations and controls.

- Defining new processes and gearing up the organization for future.

- Exposure on handling tax compliance and governance is required.
