Venture Capital (VC) Associate - Sector Agnostic Fund

About the Role

The Venture Capital Associate will be an integral part of the investment team, responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, financial analysis, and portfolio management.


This role offers high exposure to the startup ecosystem and requires a blend of sharp analytical skills, a passion for technology, and strong relationship-building capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Deal Sourcing & Screening: Actively source high-potential investment opportunities through networking, industry events, and cold outreach across various sectors (FinTech, SaaS, Consumer Tech, etc.

- Due Diligence: Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including market analysis (TAM, competitive landscape), deep-dive business model assessment, and management team evaluation.

- Financial Modeling: Develop detailed financial models, including revenue projections, valuation analysis (DCF, Comparables), and scenario planning to support investment recommendations.

- Investment Memo Preparation: Prepare and present investment memos and pitches to the Investment Committee, articulating the investment thesis, risks, and potential returns.

- Portfolio Support: Work closely with portfolio company founders to provide strategic and operational guidance on areas like go-to-market, hiring, and subsequent fundraising rounds.

- Industry Research: Continuously track emerging technology trends, market shifts, and competitive dynamics to inform the firms investment strategy.

Qualifications & Skills

Education: Full-time MBA from a Tier 1/Premier institution.

Experience: 2-5 years of post-MBA experience in Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Private Equity, or a high-growth startup in a strategic role.

Hard Skills:


- Exceptional financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.

- Deep understanding of startup metrics and unit economics.

Soft Skills: High intellectual curiosity, proactive deal-sourcing mentality, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to build trust with founders and investors
