Associate - Statutory Audit - CA

Role Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and ambitious Chartered Accountant to join our Statutory Audit team in Mumbai. In this role, you will be at the forefront of financial integrity, conducting comprehensive audits to ensure that our clients' financial statements reflect a true and fair view of their operations. You will work closely with diverse client teams and senior stakeholders, navigating complex regulatory environments to deliver high-quality audit reports.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute end-to-end statutory audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients, ensuring strict adherence to auditing standards and regulatory requirements.

- Analyze complex financial statements and underlying records to identify discrepancies, ensuring that all reporting aligns with IFRS and GAAP frameworks.

- Collaborate with cross-functional audit teams to plan and perform substantive testing and analytical procedures.

- Communicate audit findings and observations to client management, providing actionable insights that help improve their internal control environments.

- Manage documentation and audit trails meticulously, ensuring all work papers are audit-ready and compliant with firm policies.

Required Skillset:

- Possess a strong technical foundation in accounting principles, with a demonstrated ability to interpret and apply IFRS and GAAP standards.

- Exhibit exceptional analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

- Demonstrate professional communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts clearly.

- Maintain a high degree of professional skepticism and ethical judgment.

- Hold a valid Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.

- Adapt seamlessly to a dynamic, on-site work environment in Mumbai.
