Associate - Statutory Audit

Role Overview:

We are seeking a high-caliber Chartered Accountant to join our Statutory Audit practice in Mumbai. In this role, you will lead complex audit engagements, ensuring the integrity of financial statements and compliance with regulatory frameworks. You will work closely with diverse client stakeholders, ranging from mid-market enterprises to large conglomerates, while mentoring junior team members. Your work will be instrumental in providing stakeholders with the financial transparency and assurance required to make critical business decisions, directly impacting the credibility and operational excellence of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Execute end-to-end statutory audits for diverse clients to ensure adherence to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

- Lead audit fieldwork and manage the documentation process to ensure timely delivery and high-quality reporting.

- Analyze complex financial data and identify potential risks or control deficiencies to provide actionable insights to management.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and client finance departments to resolve audit queries and streamline the reporting process.

- Oversee the preparation of financial statements in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP to maintain global reporting standards.

Required Skillset:

- Possess a deep understanding of Statutory Audit procedures and financial reporting frameworks, including IFRS and Ind AS.

- Demonstrate strong analytical capabilities to interpret complex financial information and identify discrepancies.

- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for managing client relationships and leading audit teams effectively.

- Maintain a professional qualification as a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1 - 7 years of relevant experience.

- Show high adaptability to the dynamic nature of audit work, including the ability to manage multiple engagements simultaneously in a hybrid work environment.
