Position: Associate/Senior Associate - Investor Relations (Private Equity Fund)

A distinguished investment bank with over 13 years of expertise in managing Indian and international deals across Structured Finance, Corporate Finance, Leveraged Buyouts, Private Equity, M&A, and Financial Advisory.

Location: Noida, Mumbai

Language Proficiency: Must be proficient in English.

Role Summary:

- We are seeking a dynamic Investor Relations professional (Associate/Senior Associate/AVP/DVP) to serve as the primary liaison for current and prospective investors, driving fundraising efforts and managing the end-to-end investor lifecycle for the firm's private equity fund.


- This role involves developing and executing a comprehensive investor relations strategy, fostering strong relationships with stakeholders such as Private Equity Fund Houses, institutional investors, and family offices, and ensuring transparent communication of the fund's strategy and performance through meetings, roadshows, and presentations.


- The position enhances investor satisfaction and aligns with the firm's objectives of handling mid- to large-sized deals (USD 50-100 million+) across sectors like infrastructure, real estate, and pharmaceuticals.

Key Responsibilities:

Fundraising & Investor Engagement:

- Lead fundraising efforts by identifying, engaging, and nurturing relationships with prospective investors, including PE Fund Houses, Funds of Funds, institutional investors, and family offices, both domestically and offshore.

- Develop strategies to deepen engagement with existing investors, ensuring high satisfaction and retention.

- Create and implement a comprehensive investor relations strategy aligned with the firm's business objectives.

Stakeholder Communication & Relationship Management:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for investor queries and concerns, providing timely updates on fund performance and portfolio entities.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with investors, analysts, and key stakeholders, delivering coherent and concise communications.

- Coordinate meetings, roadshows, and conferences to discuss the firm's performance and growth outlook.

- Collaborate with senior leadership to develop messaging that reflects the firm's strategy and potential.

Research & Client Support:

- Conduct research on tax and regulatory aspects related to clients, ensuring compliance with SEBI regulations.

- Assist in preparing presentations tailored to client needs and scope of work.

- Track client-related activities efficiently, identifying and resolving issues in a timely manner.

Operational & Regulatory Collaboration:

- Work with internal teams (finance, compliance, technology) to address regulatory requirements and drive operational improvements.

- Drive initiatives to enhance the investor experience and improve communication across business units.

Job Requirements:

Experience:

- 3-8 years of experience in Investor Relations or a similar domain.

- Strong understanding of SEBI regulations and private equity markets.

- Proven experience in dealing with clients and interacting efficiently with stakeholders.

Education:

- CA, MBA, or CFA from a reputed institute; candidates with other qualifications may apply with higher relevant experience.

Skills & Attitude:

- Exceptional communication, relationship management, and analytical skills.

- Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.

- Solution-oriented with a collaborative mindset and ability to work in teams.

- High aptitude for coordinating with multiple stakeholders across business units, teams, and organizational levels.

Industry Exposure - Mandatory experience in Investment Banking, Private Equity, or Investment Advisory.
