Associate/Senior Associate - Investment Banking/Corporate Finance - Boutique Investment Bank

Key Responsibilities :

Some of the key work areas would include :

Deal Execution

- Participate in all stages of deal execution, including preparing marketing pitches, financial analysis, and preparing deal collaterals including Information Memorandum, detailed financial models, presentations etc.

- Managing the flow of information and coordinating with various parties (both external and internal) involved in the deal

- To support the engagement manager(s) in delivering engagements in the specific sector

- Prepare and maintain sector and industry-specific presentations and pitchbooks for client meetings

Industry Research:

- Staying up-to-date on industry trends and developments and maintain a database of key transactions, sector multiples, and profiles

- Keep abreast of new developments in the profession, the business, the industry and the regulatory environment

Relationship Management:

- Participate in client meetings and presentations as a key member of the deal team

- Build a strong network with peers and professionals in the field and contribute to the identification & pursuit of business development initiatives

- Understand core offering in detail and ensure that the same is clearly communicated to clients during relevant interactions

- Manage relationships across both internal and external stakeholders

Risk Management:

- Ensure adherence to suitable risk management practices on transactions and ensure full compliance to firm's policies on risk management and independence

Technical Skills Required:

- MBA with specialization in Finance from a reputed institute and/or a CA

Experience / skills required:

- The candidate must have strong understanding of Corporate Finance principles and have experience of developing detailed financial models from scratch in a time bound manner

- Have strong interpersonal skills, team skills, communication skills - both verbal and written

- The candidate should have high level of comfort with MS excel spreadsheets, Word and Power point
