APAC ( SEA + India ) - Front End Investment Advisory - Associate / Senior Associate Our client is mission-driven investment and advisory firm that unlocks the power of capital for sustainable growth and strong returns in underserved markets. The Client provides transaction and investment advisory services, having developed a specialized expertise in unleashing investment across all sectors in these markets. They have advised on over US$8bn worth of transactions across 75 countries globally, serving clients from 20 offices spread across Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas. Their clients include governments, development finance institutions, private equity firms, Fortune 100 companies, and research institutions. We are currently looking to identify a seasoned Associate with 5 plus years of experience in handling end to end Cross Border / M&A Transactions (deal sourcing / financial modeling / Road shows / Book Running ),working experience on Live Deals would be a must requirement or Private Equity Placement / fund raising experience. Sector wise deals or transactions experience in Infrastructure / Energy sector would be desired. Primary Responsibilities: Investment target identification and screening: a. Use conventional and unconventional channels to Identify and rigorously assess investment opportunities. b. For targets that are not yet investment-ready, be able to concisely map out paths to investability and resources required to achieve investability c. Be able to credibly articulate investment opportunities' social and environmental impact narratives Investor identification and relationship building: a. Understand investor mandates, criteria, preferences and existing portfolios b. Understand investor appetite to work with DFIs or other development-oriented actors c. Originate, manage and deepen investor relationships Detailed commercial due diligence / vendor due diligence: a. Directly conduct or facilitate investor due diligence b. Compile and curate comprehensive virtual data rooms and manage investor Q&A processes - Robust, multi-faceted valuations of private companies using rigorous, defensible methodologies - Preparation of Investment memorandums and teasers, sophisticated financial models. Should be able to author and / or refine investment materials - Recommendations on optimal transaction structures based upon near-, medium- and long-term company strategic objectives and capitalization parameters, available instruments and investor preferences. Draft detailed illustrative term sheets for debt and equity deals - Market assessment and ongoing market analysis by conducting macroeconomic and geopolitical market assessments and provide sector analysis of priority areas for investments. - Report writing on various investment topics - Support recruitment and define inspiring others and building the firm's culture as a core responsibility
