Associate/Senior Associate - Financial Advisory - UK Shift

Key Responsibilities:

- Partner with clients through the full lifecycle of investment transactions across credit and alternative asset classes, including loan portfolios, securitisations, specialty financing, and real estate.

- Build and review flexible, transparent financial models for periodic third-party valuations, including scenario and sensitivity analysis.

- Design valuation approaches for new asset types and enhance the firm's private markets valuation platform.

- Present valuation outputs to clients, investors, and auditors in a clear and professional manner.

- Mentor junior team members, conduct technical training, and oversee smaller teams to ensure timely project delivery.

- Support asset management reporting, post-deal analysis, business planning, and ad-hoc analytics for portfolio monitoring and surveillance.

Required Experience & Skill Set:

- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or MBA; certifications such as CFA, FRM, or CAIA are a plus.

- Strong understanding of securitisations, prepayments, defaults, capital structures, and payment waterfalls.

- Advanced proficiency in financial modelling using MS Excel; knowledge of Python is advantageous.

- Familiarity with private market valuations.

- Ability to work independently and manage small teams effectively.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

- Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments under pressure.
