Associate/Senior Associate (Financial Advisory-Valuations)
About the Opportunity:
Join a fast-growing global financial services and advisory firm specializing in private markets, structured finance, and alternative investments. This role offers the opportunity to work with leading global investment banks, private equity firms, hedge funds, and institutional investors on complex financial transactions, valuations, and portfolio analytics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and review financial models for valuations, investment analysis, and portfolio monitoring.
- Perform scenario analysis, sensitivity testing, and cash flow modelling across various alternative asset classes.
- Support investment underwriting, valuation assignments, and transaction advisory mandates.
- Analyze portfolio performance, market data, and financial information to generate meaningful insights.
- Present valuation findings and analytical outputs to clients, investors, and auditors.
- Assist with asset management reporting, portfolio surveillance, and business planning.
- Ensure compliance with global valuation standards and industry best practices.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to process improvements and knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or MBA (Finance).
- Strong financial modelling skills in MS Excel; VBA or Python knowledge is an added advantage.
- Experience in valuation, investment banking, transaction advisory, corporate finance, FP&A, or financial modelling.
- Understanding of private credit, structured finance, securitization, commercial real estate, or alternative investments is preferred.
- CFA, FRM, CAIA, or similar professional certifications are an advantage.
- Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
