Associate - Real Estate Infra Investments

Overview:

We are looking for an investment/transactions professional with 2-5 years of experience to support acquisitions and strategic investments across education infra. The role spans deal evaluation, execution, and portfolio value creation, working closely with senior leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deal sourcing support: Track the relevant landscape, maintain target lists of schools, educational institutions, and platforms, and assist in initial outreach.

- Evaluation and analysis: Build and maintain financial models, perform valuation and returns analysis, and prepare investment memos and IC materials.

- Commercial due diligence: Support assessment of market size, competitive positioning, pricing, unit economics, and regulatory considerations in education.

- Deal execution: Coordinate with advisors, legal, tax, and diligence providers; support SPA /SHA review, data room management, and process timelines.

- Portfolio and integration: Track KPIs for acquired assets, support post-merger integration initiatives, and assist in strategic projects with portfolio management teams.

- Stakeholder interaction: Work with founders, school promoters, management teams, bankers, and internal senior leadership to drive transactions to closure.

Candidate Profile:

- 2-5 years of experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, transaction advisory, or corporate development.

- Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills, with the ability to independently own work streams.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to create crisp presentations and investment materials.

- High ownership mindset, strong work ethic, and ability to thrive in lean teams and fast-moving deal environments.

Education: CA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent qualification in finance, economics, or related fields preferred.
