Role: Purpose of the role is to perform business as usual (BAU) within C&amp;IB control function in ensuring selected books and records of the bank are properly valued, reported and disclosed and all the risks around the processes performed are raised, assessed, monitored and addressed as well as to drive projects and trigger continuous improvements initiatives What the Business Does: The Role is in Transaction Management &amp; Operations and will report to Transaction Management &amp; Operations - AVP/VP Your responsibilities: As Product controller Associate your key responsibilities will be: - Daily calculation and reporting of Profit &amp; Loss and/or Balance Sheet statements for respective trading desks, including reconciliation, analytical review, driver analysis and commentary - Ensure accuracy and completeness of Profit &amp; Loss results &amp; submissions, - Work with source systems- reconciliation team to understand the breaks - Monthly Balance Sheet Substantiation - Ensure 100% accuracy and completeness of Vanila P&amp;L - Ensure month end numbers agree to the sum of the daily P&amp;L or provide meaningful explanations for the Desk, - Ensure all the reporting systems of the Group are correct, - Ensure process documentation is updated (as required), - Identify improvements in the processes - Identify Control Gaps / weaknesses and development of remedial activity in conjunction with key stakeholders. The skills you will need: - Min 5 years of experience/Fresh CA - Commerce Graduate with Basic Banking knowledge &amp; Excellent Accounting knowledge - Strong analytical skills - Knowledge of products including experience of valuation or accounting - Experience of working in an environment with a strong customer focus, with experience of pro-actively working with demanding customers in a flexible manner - Understanding of financial markets (products, valuation &amp; risk across various asset classes) and products characteristic (FI,Credit trading, Asset-Backed Products, FX), - Excel literate
