Associate/Principal Associate - Merges & Acquisition/Private Equity Practice

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

- Independently lead M&A and PE transactions (domestic and cross-border)

- Draft, review, and negotiate SPAs, SHAs, SSAs, and related transaction documentation

- Liaise with regulatory authorities - SEBI, RBI, CCI, etc.

- Provide legal and strategic guidance on structuring and compliance

- Supervise and mentor junior team members

Core Expertise:

- Strong hands-on deal execution experience in M&A/PE

- Sound knowledge of Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI regulations, and FDI norms

- Proven ability to handle complex documentation and deal structuring

Soft Skills:

- Strong analytical mindset with leadership ability

- Client relationship management and team mentoring skills
