Role Overview

We are seeking a driven professional to lead client acquisition and business growth for Bequest Capital for the GCC- region. The role focuses on building deep relationships with institutions, family offices, and UHNIs, offering tailored investment and custody solutions for both global and India access. The individual will ensure regulatory alignment, deliver trusted client advisory, and collaborate closely with partners across Dubai, Mauritius, and other global hubs on high-impact strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Client Acquisition & Relationship Management:

- Identify, target, and acquire new clients including family offices, UHNIs and institutional clients.

- Build enduring client relationships to enhance retention and wallet share.

- Develop customized proposals and presentations aligned with client needs and objectives.

Advisory & Solutioning:

- Assess client requirement, existing portfolios and risk profiles to recommend suitable solutions.

- Partner with internal teams to deliver seamless, integrated client experiences.

Regulatory & Compliance:

- Maintain sound understanding of SEBI FPI, RBI, FEMA and cross-border regulations.

- Ensure all client engagement comply with internal and external compliance standards.

Market Intelligence:

- Track industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to identify opportunities and risks.

- Provide feedback for product development and market strategy.

Skills & Attributes:

- Strong knowledge of custody, fund administration, asset management products and about GCC region.

- Proven track record in client acquisition and institutional relationship management.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders.

- Sound understanding of regulatory and operational frameworks in financial services.

- High level of integrity, commercial acumen, and entrepreneurial mindset.

- (Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) consists of six member countries: Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE)).

Education & Experience:

- MBA / CFA / CA preferred.

- Minimum 5 years of experience in custody sales, asset management, or institutional business development.

- Exposure to cross-border investment products and regulatory frameworks (India-UAE corridor preferred).
