Associate Manager - Trade Finance Operations

Role Overview:

We are hiring for an Associate Manager - Trade Finance Operations role with a leading financial services organization.

Location: Hyderabad

Shift: Rotational Shifts

Experience: 12+ Years

Leadership Experience: Minimum 3 years of team handling experience

Domain: Trade Finance / Trade Operations / International Banking

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and supervise teams handling Trade Finance / International Trade Operations.

- Manage day-to-day operations, workflow, productivity, quality and SLA/KPI adherence.

- Drive process improvements, operational efficiency and control enhancements.

- Identify opportunities to improve processes, systems and service delivery.

- Support implementation of new products, processes and operational initiatives.

- Manage team capacity, staffing requirements and resource allocation.

- Handle operational escalations and ensure timely resolution of risk-related issues.

- Drive adherence to risk and control frameworks across Trade Operations.

- Coach, mentor and develop team members while supporting talent acquisition and succession planning.

- Collaborate with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.

Key Requirements:

- 12+ years of experience in Trade Finance / Trade Services / International Banking Operations.

- Strong experience in Trade Operations / Trade Finance processes.

- People management / team leadership experience.

- Exposure to BSA/AML, Sanctions and Anti-Boycott policies and procedures.

- Strong understanding of operational risk, controls and regulatory requirements.

- Experience managing risk escalations, SLAs and operational KPIs.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- CAMS / ACAMS Trade-Based Money Laundering certification will be an added advantage.

- Comfortable working in rotational shifts.

Professionals from banking and financial services organizations with strong experience in Trade Finance Operations, International Banking and team management.
