Role Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our Bangalore team as an Associate Manager - RTR.
In this capacity, you will oversee the end-to-end Record to Report cycle, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of financial data across the organization.
You will work closely with cross-functional finance teams, regional controllers, and senior stakeholders to streamline month-end closing processes and provide actionable financial insights.
By maintaining rigorous control environments and driving process efficiencies, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the companys strategic decision-making and ensuring global financial compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting for global business units.
- Execute complex balance sheet reconciliations to identify discrepancies and ensure all accounts are substantiated in accordance with internal control policies.
- Perform deep-dive balance sheet analysis to provide leadership with visibility into financial trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Lead the preparation of financial statements and management reports to support stakeholders in evaluating business performance and budgetary compliance.
- Drive process automation and standardization initiatives to reduce manual intervention and enhance the overall efficiency of the RTR function.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate seamless audit cycles and maintain a robust documentation trail for all financial transactions.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in managing the full Record to Report lifecycle, with a deep understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Proven ability to perform complex balance sheet analysis and reconciliations, ensuring high levels of accuracy in high-volume environments.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate complex financial data to non-finance stakeholders and influence decision-making at various levels.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced Excel, coupled with a track record of implementing process improvements that drive operational excellence.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to navigate a hybrid work environment in Bangalore, balancing independent task management with team-based collaboration.
- Professional qualification - Qualified Chartered Accountant from a reputed institution, reflecting a strong academic foundation in financial management.
- 4 - 8 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting, specifically within a global shared services or corporate finance setup.
