We are hiring for a leading global energy trading & investment firm headquartered in Dubai, known for its fast-growing portfolio in energy, commodities, and infrastructure transactions. The firm is expanding its Corporate Development & Investments team and is seeking a strong Project Finance & M&A professional for a high-impact role.

About the Role

This is a mid-level, high-visibility position that involves evaluating investment opportunities, leading financial modelling, supporting debt financing, and executing M&A transactions end-to-end. The role offers significant exposure to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, making it ideal for candidates who thrive in fast-paced, deal-driven environments.

Key Responsibilities

Project Finance & Investment Analysis

- Build & maintain advanced financial models, valuations, and scenario analyses

- Assess project feasibility, IRR/NPV, sensitivities & capital structures

- Support debt financing, due diligence, lender discussions, and documentation

- Prepare investment papers, business cases, and board submissions

M&A Execution

- Support full M&A lifecycle: evaluation diligence valuation deal closure

- Manage data rooms and coordinate with legal, tax, technical & financial advisors

- Review commercial agreements (SPA, SHA, loan documents, etc.)

Market & Strategic Analysis

- Conduct industry/market/competitor analysis across energy & commodities

- Evaluate new business models, strategic partnerships & emerging technologies

- Prepare investment memos, strategy decks, and presentations

Stakeholder Management

- Work closely with senior leadership and internal teams

- Liaise with banks, advisors, and external partners

- Communicate insights and recommendations clearly

Qualifications & Requirements

- Bachelors in Finance/Economics/Engineering; MBA/CFA preferred

- 4-9 years in Project Finance, Corporate Finance, M&A, IB or PE

- Strong financial modelling & valuation expertise (mandatory)

- Experience in energy, commodities, infrastructure is highly preferred

- Strong due diligence & transaction execution experience

- Excellent communication, analytical thinking & multi-tasking ability

- Open to candidates from India willing to relocate to the UAE
