About The Role:

- We are looking for a Junior Manager Operations (Control Tower) to play a critical role in driving operational excellence across Vahan's supply and demand ecosystem.

- This role will sit at the center of day-to-day operations, using data to identify process and system breakages, coordinating across teams to drive resolution, and ensuring that control tower metrics are consistently tracked and improved.

- This is a high-ownership role requiring strong analytical thinking, structured problem solving, and effective stakeholder management.

- You will work closely with Demand, Supply, Product, Tech, and Business teams to ensure operational stability, speed, and scalability.

What You'll Do?

Daily Operations & Data Analysis:

- Analyze daily operational data to identify gaps, anomalies, and process/system breakages.

- Build and maintain dashboards, trackers, and reports to monitor key control tower metrics.

- Translate data insights into clear problem statements and action plans.

Process Design & Improvement:

- Work with Demand and Supply teams to define, document, and continuously improve operational processes.

- Identify recurring issues and drive root-cause analysis to prevent future breakdowns.

- Support rollout of new processes and ensure adherence across stakeholders.

Control Tower Governance:

- Track and monitor performance against defined control tower targets and SLAs.

- Ensure ownership, timelines, and accountability are clearly defined for all action items.

- Provide regular updates to leadership on risks, bottlenecks, and progress.

Stakeholder & Issue Management:

- Act as a coordination layer across multiple teams to ensure fast resolution of operational issues.

- Proactively flag risks and escalations with clear data-backed context.

- Follow up rigorously to ensure issues are closed with long-term fixes, not just workarounds.

What You Bring?

Analytical strength:

- Strong ability to work with structured and unstructured data.

- Comfortable using spreadsheets, SQL (preferred), dashboards, and basic scripting or BI tools.

- Ability to convert raw data into actionable insights.

Program & Operations Management:

- Experience managing multiple workstreams, dependencies, and timelines.

- Strong execution mindset with attention to detail and follow-through.

Stakeholder management:

- Ability to work cross-functionally with Demand, Supply, Product, Tech, and Business teams.

- Clear and confident communicator who can drive alignment and accountability.

Problem-solving mindset:

- Structured thinker with a bias toward root-cause analysis and scalable solutions.

- Comfortable operating in ambiguity and fast-changing environments.

Experience & Qualifications:

- 2-5 years of experience in operations, program management, analytics, consulting, or a similar role.

- Prior experience in marketplaces, logistics, supply chain, or high-volume operations is a plus.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field (preferred).
