Associate Manager - Business Finance - Supply Chain Finance Function - CA

- The Assistant Manager - Business Finance will play a key role within the Supply Chain Finance (SCF) function, driving financial planning, performance analysis, and strategic business support.

- The role involves managing daily and monthly P&L reporting, tracking key performance metrics, and providing actionable insights to enable informed decision-making.

- The position is also responsible for supporting the formulation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP), monitoring AOP vs. Actuals performance, identifying variances, and performing root-cause analysis. Acting as a finance partner to business teams, the AM will contribute to target setting, participate in monthly business review meetings, and ensure accurate recognition of revenue and expenses in line with applicable accounting standards and organizational norms.

- Overall, this role combines financial discipline, analytical rigor, and business partnering to support sustainable growth and optimize financial performance within the Supply Chain Finance function.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Key Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities would include:

- Preparation and monitoring of daily and monthly P&L

- Tracking and analysis of key performance metrics impacting the function

- Formulation of the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) aligned to key parameters and growth objectives

- AOP vs Actuals analysis, including identification of variances and root-cause analysis

- Supporting business teams in defining and achieving target parameters, including participation in monthly business review meetings

- Ensuring appropriate recognition of revenue and expenditure in line with applicable accounting standards and norms.

- Qualified Professional: You are a Chartered Accountant (or equivalent) with a first-attempt qualification and 2-4 years of post-qualification experience.

- P&L Owner: You have hands-on experience in the preparation and monitoring of daily and monthly Profit & Loss statements.

- Analytical Rigor: You excel at AOP formulation and "AOP vs. Actuals" analysis, with a proven ability to identify root causes behind financial variances.

- Strategic Partner: You are comfortable participating in Monthly Business Reviews (MBRs) and supporting business teams in defining and achieving critical target parameters.
