Associate - Investment Banking

We're Hiring: Associate - Investment Banking

Location: Bangalore, Mumbai

Working Days: Monday to Friday

We are looking for a highly motivated Associate to join our team and work on innovative transactions for impact-driven businesses across diverse sectors, geographies, and financial structures. This is an excellent opportunity to gain exposure to end-to-end transaction execution, business development, and corporate development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Transaction Execution:

- Support end-to-end execution of fundraising and investment banking transactions.

- Prepare investment memorandums, financial models, valuation models, teasers, industry research, and competitive analyses.

- Coordinate investor meetings, calls, and due diligence processes.

- Assist in term sheet, SHA, and SSA discussions and negotiations.

- Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the transaction lifecycle.

2. Business Development:

- Conduct industry, market, economic, and regulatory research.

- Support sector leads in preparing client presentations, marketing materials, and conference content.

- Contribute to business development and client coverage activities.

3. Corporate Development:

- Maintain investor and sector databases.

- Track transaction milestones and revenue metrics.

- Support preparation of corporate presentations, newsletters, website content, and other internal initiatives.

Qualifications & Skills:

- MBA / CA / CFA

- 3+ years of relevant Investment Banking experience

- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

- Strong financial modeling and valuation skills

- Experience preparing investment memorandums and conducting industry research

- Understanding of accounting principles and financial statement analysis

- Knowledge of valuation methodologies including DCF, comparable company, and transaction analysis

- Exposure to the Venture Capital and Private Equity ecosystem in India

- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
