Position: Experienced Associate, Revenue Growth Management (RGM) Consulting
Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Experienced Associate to join our Revenue Growth Management (RGM) consulting practice. In this role, you will be an integral part of project teams, working directly with clients in the consumer markets sector to design and implement strategies that drive profitable growth. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of consulting experience with a strong foundation in Trade Promotions Management (TPM), pricing strategy, and data analytics.
Key Responsibilities
You will leverage your knowledge and skills to help our clients solve complex business problems. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Supporting end-to-end RGM and TPM system implementation projects, from design and configuration through testing, deployment, and user training.
- Collecting, interpreting, and analyzing data including financial metrics, shipment data, and pricing trends to generate insights and inform strategic decisions.
- Assisting in the development of pricing and promotion strategies, including price setting, promotion planning, optimization, and post-event analytics.
- Researching and analyzing client, industry, and technical matters to provide a fact-based foundation for our recommendations.
- Developing client-ready deliverables, including presentations, project plans, and analytical reports, using tools like PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
- Collaborating effectively with cross-functional client teams (Sales, Marketing, Finance) and internal team members to drive project success.
- Communicating clearly and confidently with clients and team members, both in writing and verbally.
Position Requirements
Knowledge & Technical Expertise
Candidates should demonstrate substantial experience and/or knowledge in the following areas:
- Trade Promotions Management (TPM): Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Master Data, Funds Management, Promotion Planning & Optimization, Accruals, Payments, and Post-Event Analytics.
- Pricing & Profitability: Understanding of pricing strategy, value-based pricing, transaction price management, and customer portfolio profitability.
- Data & Analytics: Familiarity with data strategy, analytics transformation, and the use of data to solve business problems.
- Consulting & Implementation: Proven experience working in consulting teams, with knowledge of the full project lifecycle for long-term engagements, particularly system implementations in the consumer markets space.
Skills & Qualifications
Required:
- 2-5 years of relevant experience in RGM, TPM, or pricing consulting.
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, Sciences, or a related field from a recognized institution.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build relationships with clients and colleagues.
Preferred:
- An MBA is preferred ; Or equivalent professional experience will be considered.
- Hands-on expertise with BI and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Alteryx.
- Experience with TPM software platforms (e.g., SAP TPM, Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud) is a significant advantage.
- Knowledge of programming/query languages such as R, Python, or SQL is a plus.
- Understanding of financial concepts (e.g., profit margins, cost structures, revenue models) and their application to pricing decisions.
