BNC Global has been mandated to hire for a Financial Modelling & Valuation Associate role with one of our advisory client based in Gurgaon.

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Associate with strong hands-on expertise in financial modelling and valuation, along with the ability to prepare high-quality valuation reports and client-ready presentations. The role demands strong attention to auditability, assumptions, and documentation standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Build and maintain end-to-end financial models (3-statement, forecasting, scenarios & sensitivities) with strong checks and documentation

2. Perform valuation analysis using DCF, trading comparables, precedent transactions, and asset-based approaches

3. Prepare valuation reports, memos, and presentations outlining methodology, assumptions, and conclusions

4. Support business plan development including unit economics, margin bridges, working capital, and cash flow forecasting

5. Conduct industry and peer benchmarking analysis to support valuation assumptions

6. Coordinate with client finance teams to reconcile historical data, validate inputs, and ensure model integrity

Ideal Candidate Profile

1. CA/CFA/MBA (Finance) preferred

2. 2+ years of experience with Tier 1 / Tier 2 firms in Financial Modelling & Valuation, Transaction Advisory, Consulting, or similar domains

3. Experience in the Infrastructure Space sector will be preferred.

4. Strong grasp of valuation concepts, corporate finance, and accounting fundamentals (Ind AS / IFRS knowledge preferred)

5. Advanced Excel modelling skills and strong PowerPoint/report-writing capabilities

6. Strong hands-on experience building structured 3-statement financial models with scenarios, sensitivities, and robust checks

7. Comfortable preparing valuation reports, notes, and presentations with clearly articulated assumptions and outputs

8. High ownership mindset, strong attention to detail, and ability to communicate insights clearly
