The Role:

Associate Director - Workday Financial Accounting Core

As a Finance Commercial Lead, you will oversee commercial relationships with a client to optimize financial and business operations results and deliver client value. Work closely with business leads to drive financial performance, understand and mitigate business risks, manage investments and accountability, and provide guidance to the team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Expected to be a SME with deep knowledge and experience.

- Should have influencing and Advisory skills.

- Engage with multiple teams and responsible for team decisions.

- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams, and provide solutions to business area problems.

- Lead financial strategy development for commercial projects.

- Analyze financial data to provide insights and recommendations.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance.

- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures.

Skills Required:

Client Engagement & Strategy:

- Act as a Finance Commercial Lead for large transformation programs.

- Provide consulting support to improve client financial processes using Workday.

- Develop tailored strategies for clients' business and finance needs.

Subject Matter Expertise (SME):

- Be the go-to expert on Workday Financials and related systems.

-Stay updated on the latest Workday capabilities and industry finance trends.

Team Leadership:

- Lead and guide cross-functional teams (finance, HR, tech).

- Take ownership of team decisions and problem-solving approaches.

- Support in talent development and capability building.

Financial Management:

- Analyze financial data for budgeting, forecasting, reporting.

- Ensure alignment of financial strategies with business goals.

- Implement financial controls, audits, and governance best practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

- The candidate should have a minimum of 18 years of experience in Workday Financial Accounting Core.

- A S and C Lead with experience in delivering finance projects is required.
