Associate Director - Training Key Responsibilities - Training Strategy & Oversight: Oversee all Training needs within Healthcare Payer Training Operations and be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive training and development strategy for the Business. - Predictive Insights & KRA Achievement: Build predictable insight models to enable the business to stay ahead of the curve. - Meet agreed-upon Key Result Areas (KRAs) and any additional targets driven by business needs. - Global Collaboration & Best Practices: Collaborate with teams across various geographies and verticals to share best practices and drive continuous improvement in training methodologies and content. - Project Leadership & Delivery: Oversee and ensure the successful delivery of key training and development projects. - Provide strategic and tactical inputs to RFPs (Request for Proposals) from a learning standpoint. - New Business Migration: Lead the Training function for the migration of new businesses from client sites to desired work locations, ensuring smooth knowledge transfer and operational readiness. - Competency Development: Execute projects specifically aimed at improving speed to competence for employees. - Client & Content Customization: Work closely with clients to deeply understand their product/service offerings and then design/customize training content to ensure efficient and effective knowledge transfer. - Framework Development: Create and deploy robust frameworks for instructional design and comprehensive training evaluation. - Team Collaboration: Work closely with Training Managers in the design and delivery of learning frameworks, practices, and solutions during the development of training programs. - Learning Methodologies: Propose and implement learning methodologies best suited to the target audience and learning objectives. - Resource Planning & Budget Management: Plan for resources (People and Infrastructure) in a timely manner to avoid delays and potential impact on business deliverables. - Manage the budget allocated for training tools and resources effectively. - Governance & Communication: Design and execute strong governance plans to maintain transparent communication with internal customers, stakeholders, and clients to gather information, feedback, and approvals. - Cross-Center Coordination: Coordinate with other centers to share best practices, drive continuous improvement of content and delivery, and ensure adherence to identified best practices in FSL (First Session Learning) training and on-job training. - Ambassadorial Role: Participate in key forums, either at client sites or other locations, and serve as an ambassador for the program and Firstsource as a whole. - Problem Solving: Recommend effective solutions to complex problems related to training and capability development. Required Qualifications & Experience - Mandatory Healthcare Payer Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience at a Senior Manager level (or equivalent leadership role) specifically within the International Healthcare Payer side. - Leadership Experience: Proven leadership experience in overseeing training operations and developing strategic training initiatives. - Training & Development Expertise: Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and evaluate comprehensive training and development strategies and programs. - Budget Management: Experience managing budgets for training tools and resources. - Client & Stakeholder Management: Strong experience in client interaction, stakeholder engagement, and relationship building, including C-suite level communication. - Analytical Skills: Ability to build predictable insight models and analyze training effectiveness. - Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly and concisely. - Collaboration: Strong collaborative skills, capable of working effectively across diverse teams and geographies. - Problem Solving: Proven ability to recommend solutions to complex challenges. - Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field. - Master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., in Learning & Development, Project Management) preferred
