We have an urgent job opening for AD Supply chain & Operations with our client.

The Role:

You will own the complete physical journey of every order mandi/vendor floor to customer doorstep. You own all three miles, the SLA architecture that binds them, and the supply-chain P&L. You set the strategy, design the network and processes, define and keep raising the SLAs, and run the daily operating rhythm that delivers them as a founding member of the leadership team with a clear path to Director / VP Operations.

What You Will Own:

1. Strategy & Network Design:

- End-to-end supply-chain strategy sourcing model, dark-store network expansion (catchments, sizing, layout, launch playbooks), delivery architecture and the P&L levers behind it: procurement cost, wastage, manpower productivity, delivery cost per order.

- Demand forecasting and daily indenting for a perishable assortment the availability-vs-wastage trade-off that makes or breaks fresh.

2. First Mile Mandi / Supplier to Dark Store:

- Run the procurement engine: buyer teams, price discovery and negotiation vs. daily mandi rates, quality-check and grading.

- Build the supplier ecosystem mandi agents, FPOs, direct-farm relationships, vendors with scorecards on quality, fill rate and landed cost.

3. Dark Store Operations:

- Own availability, quality, productivity and cost across the network through Cluster Managers and Store Teams morning shelf readiness, FEFO rotation, quality culls, order-to-handover within SLAs, and tight inventory and wastage control.

- Run safe, hygienic, fully compliant stores and ready the network for multi-format operations as goes live.

4. Last Mile:

- Own the rider network fleet sizing, onboarding, retention, earnings design and the 1015 minute promise: dispatch logic, hand-off times, surge playbooks, and a falling delivery cost per order.

5. SLAs, Control Tower & People:

- Define, publish and own the SLA framework across all three miles availability, freshness lead time, order-to-handover, on-time delivery, wastage, cost per order with real-time dashboards, daily flash reviews and weekly business reviews that convert every miss into a root cause and a countermeasure.

- Hire, coach and grow Cluster Managers and Store Teams; build the culture, scorecards and leadership bench for a large frontline workforce as stores multiply.

What You Bring:

- Pedigree: MBA/PGDM from a tier-1 institute (IIM, ISB, XLRI, FMS) and/or B.Tech from IIT / BITS / NIT or equivalent, with 3+ years in high-growth operations quick commerce, e-grocery, food-tech, FMCG/retail supply chain, logistics, or top-tier consulting with deep ops exposure.

- Ownership at scale: End-to-end ownership of a city, cluster or fulfilment network with P&L or cost-line accountability and large frontline teams.
