Associate Director - Supply Chain

Description:

- This role is responsible for managing the entire supply chain operations of a zone, including fulfillment centers, deliveries, returns, and logistics operations.

- The person will handle the profit & loss (P&L) and ensure that grocery orders are delivered efficiently and on time.

- The role involves leading a large team (around 600+ delivery and operations staff), improving operational efficiency, and implementing new strategies such as better delivery models, network planning, and process improvements.

- The person will also work closely with different teams like demand planning, sourcing, technology, analytics, fleet management, and infrastructure to improve operations and deliver a smooth customer experience.

- Overall, it is a leadership role for someone who can manage large-scale supply chain operations in e-commerce/food or grocery businesses and drive operational excellence in a fast-paced environment.
