We are Hiring for the one leading global bank with a strong presence across Asia, Africa, and the Middle East, specializing in international banking, risk, and compliance
Location: Bangalore/Chennai
Years of experience: 10-15 Years
Role is based on advisory, implementation of risk & compliance for Financial Crime & Regulatory Framework changes with testing exposure!!
Governance & Policy Advisory:
- Direct enterprise-wide governance and execution of FCRM, AML, and Anti-Fraud policies ensuring adherence to OCC, Fed, and global regulatory standards.
- Advise senior executives on systemic control gaps, policy redesigns, and compliance strategies, enhancing regulatory compliance posture and board-level oversight.
- Spearhead enterprise-wide compliance initiatives such as Required Absence for Sensitive Roles, embedding preventive controls and reducing insider fraud risk.
Independent Testing & Validation (1st/2nd Line of Defense):
- Lead end-to-end reviews of FCC and business process controls, including design assessments and effectiveness testing.
- Perform control testing, scoping, planning, re-performance, replay, and design evaluations to ensure robustness of AML/KYC/Sanctions controls.
- Execute RCSA, Incremental Compliance Testing, Targeted Testing, and Issue Validation across business lines to identify control gaps.
- Draft audit/review reports, propose corrective actions, and validate remediation plans to ensure compliance closure.
Risk & Compliance Oversight:
- Oversee enterprise-wide RCSA programs across global business units, ensuring uniform risk coverage and early issue detection.
- Standardize internal control frameworks, driving audit readiness and multi-jurisdictional compliance.
- Provide advisory on screening, sanctions, KYC, and AML-related risks to strengthen business unit processes.
- Inspect evidence, documentation, and audit trails to support compliance reviews and external audits.
Stakeholder & Project Management:
- Partner with senior executives, regulators, and cross-functional teams to drive compliance strategies.
- Manage regulatory interactions and internal audit examinations with consistently positive outcomes.
- Deliver training, awareness programs, and compliance workshops across global operations.
