Associate Director - Regulatory Compliance - Payments Domain

Associate Director - Regulatory Compliance with a strong analytical mindset. The ideal candidate will be soemone with deep expertise in the Payments ecosystem, specificallt regarding Payment Aggregators (PA) and Prepaid Payment Instrument (PPI). You will play a critical role in interoreting complex regulations and ensuring our business flows remain complaint with RBI and NPCI mandates.

What You Will Do:

- Monitor, interpret, and analyse circulars, notifications, and guidelines issued by RBI and NPCI, and provide actionable impact assessments to business and product teams.

- Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for product teams, ensuring that new products and process flows are designed in compliance with regulatory requirements and guardrails.

- Ensure end-to-end compliance with the Master Directions applicable to Payment Aggregators, Cross-Border transactions, and PPIs.

- Liaise with internal stakeholders to drive compliance initiatives and represent the function in regulatory discussions.

- Oversee regulatory reporting obligations and manage internal and external compliance audits.

What You Will Need:

- Minimum 8 years of post-qualification experience with 2 years of mandatory experience in Payments domain

- Strong working knowledge of RBI regulations with hands-on experience in regulatory implementation.

- Strong analytical ability to interpret complex regulations and assess operational impact

- Clear and confident communication skills to present compliance requirements to diverse stakeholders

- Solution-oriented mindset with the ability to identify compliance risks early and recommend practical mitigations
