Associate Director - Non-Financial Risk - Transaction Banking

A leading financial services platform is seeking an Associate Director to manage non-financial risk across Transaction Banking products, platforms and digital capabilities. The role will cover Payments and Cash Management, Trade and Digital Payments, with ownership across the end-to-end product and platform lifecycle. The incumbent will act as a trusted risk partner to Product, Operations, Technology, Digital, Implementation and control functions, supporting risk assessments, control uplift, governance, regulatory readiness and risk in change.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify, assess, monitor and report material non-financial risks across Transaction Banking products and platforms.

- Provide risk advice and constructive challenge across product strategy, digital capabilities, client solutions and change initiatives.

- Strengthen controls, risk indicators, governance, documentation and management information across Transaction Banking.

- Support new product approvals, product changes, digital platform enhancements and client implementation risk assessments.

- Drive effective issues management, incident response, remediation and escalation of material risks.

- Partner with business and control functions to strengthen first-line risk ownership and sustainable risk outcomes.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

- 15-22 years of experience with strong exposure to Transaction Banking and non-financial risk within complex financial services environments.

- Strong understanding of Payments and Cash Management, Trade and/or Digital Payments, including products, platforms and end-to-end client journeys.

- Experience across operational, technology, cyber, data, fraud, third-party, financial crime, conduct, compliance and resilience risks.

- Demonstrated ability to advise and constructively challenge senior Product, Digital, Operations and Technology stakeholders.

- Experience with product approvals, platform changes, client implementations, governance, risk reporting and remediation.

- Knowledge of domestic and cross-border payment rails, digital payment capabilities, client connectivity, APIs and payment security.
