Associate Director - Macroeconomic Analysis/Public Finance

Position: Associate Director - Macro Economic Analysis and Public Finance

Role:

- The macro analyst conducts detailed analytical research on Macro economy issues facing Indian economy and is responsible for ratings of states.

- Manage and handle macro database and macro research including public finances

- Publish timely, topical and high-quality research on macro economy including regular macro presentations

- Conduct analytical reviews of the state governments in India and make rating recommendations

- Make logically argued analytical presentations to the public finance issuers

- Analyse macro-economic data both high frequency and annual and do thematic research on macro-economic data. Comments on major economic data and policy developments on monthly basis

- Present the Company's views on macro economy including public finances to media, journalists and investors

- Interaction with central/state government senior officials

Requirements:

- Postgraduate in economics/management degree from a premier institute.

- Prior experience in public finance and macro research.

- 8-12 years of work experience in macro-economics and public finance areas.

- Strong analytical skills. Ability to undertake thorough analysis of macro-economic and public finance data.

- Good knowledge of MS Excel, Word and PPT

- Excellent communication and presentation skills to connect at senior management level

- A strong team player with excellent inter-personal skills

- A self-starter and efficient time manager with the ability to handle multiple assignments on an on-going basis, with high productivity targets
