Job Description - Internal Audit
- Excellence in leading large internal audits, Compliance and Risk Management team
- Design a systematic process for annual and quarterly audit scheduling based on a
- Company-wide risk assessment and interaction with senior management.
- Should possess a thorough understanding of business processes, auditing standards and related risk & control framework.
- Proves track record of devising & effectuating risk policies, managing risk and implementing effective mechanisms to mitigate the same.
- Develop & Implement automated Continuous Control Mechanism across the organization
- Review processes to ensure the adequacy of internal controls, processes and policy adherence mechanism.
- Monitoring and managing the outsourced internal audit activities.
- Responsible for carrying out the projects, and ability to work with across functional teams.
- Ability to lead the financial and operational audits.
- Responsible for managing the Internal financial controls which will include
- Work collaboratively with operations team to discuss the Audit findings and develop action plans to resolve identified gaps.
- Tracking open audit issues for effective implementation on due date as agreed by process owner
Core Technical Skills:
Internal Audit Methodologies
1. Risk-based auditing
2. Process walkthroughs and control testing
3. Audit planning and reporting
Accounting & Financial Expertise:
1. Deep knowledge of IFRS, Ind-AS, and GAAP
2. Strong grasp of financial reporting and disclosures
3. Ability to identify misstatements and compliance gaps
- Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge
1. SOX compliance, Companies Act, SEBI regulations
2. Familiarity with tax laws and corporate governance frameworks
Risk Management:
1. Enterprise risk assessment
2. Fraud detection and forensic audit techniques
3. Internal control design and evaluation
