Associate Director - Global Procurement - GCC/GBS

A leading GCC/GBS organization is looking for a Procurement and Sourcing Leader. The role is based in Gandhinagar Gift City-Ahmedabad.

Role - Associate Director, Global Procurement

This role owns the delivery of procurement services for the Global Procurement team and will be responsible for various procurement functions including Category Management, Sourcing, Contract Management, Spot Buying, Market Intelligence, etc.

The leader will drive and building global relationships with procurement and business teams across US, Europe and ANZ, Middle East,Africa and run procurement processes ensure that the delivery standards meet expectations.

Primary Responsibilities

- Develops and implements process strategies, service design, and benchmarking standards.

- Accountable for 'change the business' activities such as transformation, experience enhancement, digitization, and decision intelligence.

- Accountable for meeting Service Management across teams in GCC: Category Management, Contract Management, Sourcing, Market Intelligence, Spot Buying, etc.

- Manages zone-specific relationships through Zone Partners

- Accountable for governance and compliance working in collaboration with internal audit and controls, and stakeholder/supplier escalation management.

- Responsible for GCC expansion through business development, and execution of the business cases.

- Manage P&L for the GCC Procurement team in India

Qualifications

- 16-20+ years in process management, operations, or transformation roles

- 5+ years leading cross-functional global procurement teams

Leadership: proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, including Zone Partners, SMEs, and Process Excellence.

Candidates with experience from Global Consulting companies, GCCs, with Procurement and Strategic Sourcing and Category Management of global clients will be an ideal fit.
