Associate Director - Fund Accounting

Role Overview:

As an Associate Director in Fund Accounting, you will be at the forefront of managing the financial reporting and accounting operations for a portfolio of Private Equity funds. Your day-to-day will involve overseeing a team responsible for accurate and timely NAV calculations, financial statement preparation, and regulatory reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the preparation and review of fund NAV calculations, ensuring accuracy and adherence to fund governing documents and accounting standards.

- Manage the preparation of financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, for Private Equity funds.

- Lead the audit process, acting as the primary point of contact for external auditors and ensuring timely and accurate responses to audit inquiries.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory reporting requirements, including filings with the SEC and other regulatory bodies.

- Develop and mentor a team of fund accountants, providing guidance and training to enhance their technical skills and professional development.

- Review and approve capital calls and distributions, ensuring accurate allocation and timely processing.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrable expertise in fund accounting principles and practices, specifically within the Private Equity industry.
