Associate Director - Fulfillment Operations

Role Overview:

As the Associate Director - Fulfillment Operations, you will be at the helm of our Bangalore-based fulfillment centers, ensuring seamless and efficient operations from order receipt to final delivery. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including supply chain, procurement, customer service, and technology to optimize processes, drive performance, and exceed customer expectations. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to deliver exceptional service, reduce costs, and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage all aspects of the fulfillment center operations, including warehousing, inventory management, order processing, and shipping, ensuring adherence to established service level agreements (SLAs).

- Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse layout, improve material handling processes, and enhance overall operational efficiency, resulting in reduced costs and improved throughput.

- Oversee inventory control processes, including cycle counts, physical inventories, and reconciliation activities, to maintain accurate inventory levels and minimize discrepancies.

- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to fulfillment operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions to enhance performance and achieve operational targets.

- Manage and develop a high-performing team of fulfillment professionals, providing coaching, training, and mentorship to foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.

- Collaborate with supply chain and procurement teams to ensure timely and efficient flow of goods into the fulfillment center, minimizing stockouts and maximizing inventory turnover.

- Partner with customer service and sales teams to address customer inquiries and resolve fulfillment-related issues, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.

- Implement and maintain robust safety protocols and procedures within the fulfillment center, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment for all employees.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives by identifying and implementing best practices in fulfillment operations, leveraging technology and automation to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

- Manage vendor relationships with logistics providers and other service providers, negotiating contracts and monitoring performance to ensure cost-effectiveness and service quality.

Key Requirements:

7+ years of experience in warehouse or FC operations

Must currently be working in a quick-commerce company
