Job Description: FP&A Associate Director

Shift Start Time: 9 am IST

Provide strategic financial advice to the leadership team; provide specialist professional and technical expertise in the interpretation and application of finance, business related activities. Support and influence financial planning, management and decision making and ensure that the team meets all financial obligations and demonstrate financial probity.

The role has three primary areas wherein support is required 1) Country Finance Core FP&A (Individual contributor capacity) and 2) Finance Shared Services (FSS) team End to End Service delivery

1. Country Finance Core FP&A (Individual contributor) 70% to 80%

- Elevate SLGS India FP&A Value Proposition: Identify opportunities within the FP&A team deliverables to move up the value chain and enhance strategic value of the FP&A organization by bringing in fresh insights, outside-in view of the market, developing robust business analysis etc.

- Executive Management Reporting: Own the ideation and development of multiple standard and adhoc materials for insightful and engaging executive presentations for various matters. e.g. business partner visits, townhalls, QBRs etc.

- Future of Finance Execution: Enterprise-wide understanding of finance and business processes along with systems and demonstrated success in delivering innovative solutions for Finance organizations

- a. Incorporate best practices into ways of doing things to elevate the digital quotient of the finance function.

- b. Execute the identified transformation agenda coming out of Future of Finance Study

- Business Partnering: Operates with a solution provider mindset to SLGS function heads and global stakeholders

- Continuous improvement: Provide ideas, solutions, and tools to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of FP&A function

- Role involves elements of Payroll accounting and Corporate charges. Therefore, candidate is expected to ensure strong governance and control over processes leading up to and including financial reporting. Additionally, provide assistance towards internal audit, statutory audit and compliances etc. 10% to 20%

- Ensuring end to end execution of contract agreements pertaining to FSS and FP&A responsibilities

- Adhoc assignment/task as per business requirement

2. Finance Shared Services (FSS) team End to End Service delivery 20% to 30%

- Review and supervise the day-to-day BAU activities of a 3 member existing FSS team supporting global business partners

- Active participation in driving the growth journey of FSS vertical

- Conduct Business partner roundtable on a periodic basis to capture progress on service delivery

- Partner with SLGS leaders and engage with BGs to create organic growth opportunities

- Mentoring, Coaching and guiding the existing team members to ensure that top notch service delivery experience is created for business partners

- Ensure that bandwidth/resiliency within the team is maintained to ensure business continuity and SLAs adherence.

- Provide ideas, solutions to increase the effectiveness and efficiency of FSS activities

Qualifications/Skills:

- Minimum 12 years of post-qualification (CA/MBA) with experience in middle management roles and experience of working with C-suite executives

- FP&A experience, preferably in a Global Capability Centre (GCC) would be ideal

- Demonstrates flexibility, swift turnaround of deliverables and fungibility to deliver multiple priorities

- Knowledge of Core Business Applications i.e. SAP, Hyperion, Tableau would be preferred
