Role Overview:

As an Associate Director in Financial Due Diligence, you will be at the forefront of advising clients on critical investment decisions. Your day-to-day will involve leading teams in analyzing financial statements, identifying key deal drivers, and assessing potential risks and opportunities within target businesses. You will collaborate closely with partners, engagement managers, and other team members, as well as interact directly with clients and target management teams. Your insights and recommendations will directly impact multi-million dollar M&A transactions, shaping investment strategies and driving value creation for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead financial due diligence engagements, overseeing all aspects of the project from planning to report delivery, ensuring high-quality and timely execution for clients.

- Analyze historical and projected financial information, identifying key trends, drivers, and potential risks and opportunities to inform investment decisions for clients.

- Manage and mentor junior team members, providing guidance and support to foster their professional development and enhance team performance on engagements.

- Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to clients through clear and concise reports and presentations, influencing their decision-making process.

- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and target management teams, building trust and becoming a trusted advisor on M&A transactions.

- Contribute to business development efforts by identifying and pursuing new opportunities, expanding the firm's presence in the financial due diligence market.

Required Skillset:

- Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive financial analysis, interpret financial statements, and identify key business drivers and risks.

- Proven experience in leading and managing financial due diligence engagements, including planning, execution, and report writing.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.

- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, target management teams, and internal stakeholders.

- Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA), MBA in Finance, or equivalent professional qualification.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, demanding environment and adapt to changing priorities, with a willingness to work collaboratively in a team setting in Bangalore.
