Job Title: Associate Director - Finance
Location: Hyderabad

Role Overview
We are looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Associate Director Finance to lead statutory compliances, taxation (Direct & Indirect), banking & treasury operations, and audit coordination. The role involves managing end-to-end compliance, reviewing financial operations, and ensuring accurate and timely statutory filings for the organization, associated entities, and trusts.
Key Responsibilities
Statutory Compliance Direct & Indirect Tax
- Oversee monthly and annual GST compliance, review reconciliations, and ensure accurate filings.
- Manage TDS/TCS computations, monthly remittances, quarterly returns, and vendor queries (Form 16A).
- Compile and review Income Tax Returns, Tax Audit Reports for the organization, associated companies, and trusts.
- Handle tax assessments, notices, and respond to authorities on time.
- Coordinate with FCRA authorities for annual filings and audits.
Banking & Treasury Management
- Manage banking operations, fund flows, and treasury activities.
- Monitor investments and oversee deployment of funds as per approved policies.
- Coordinate with banks for corporate credit cards, account updates, and operational support.
Audit Coordination
- Work closely with Statutory & Internal Auditors for smooth audit completion.
- Provide timely data, clarifications, and support for Income Tax, GST, FCRA, and financial audits.
Secretarial & Legal Compliance
- Manage filings and returns under Registrar of Companies (ROC).
- Support coordination for AGM and related secretarial processes.
Internal & External Stakeholder Support
- Address employee and visiting faculty queries on Income Tax and GST.
- Provide taxation inputs for MoUs, agreements, grants, and international/ domestic faculty payments.
- Ensure compliance for all foreign remittances.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in Direct & Indirect Taxation, statutory laws, and regulatory frameworks
- Sound accounting knowledge with excellent analytical abilities
- Strong communication, interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in SAP, MS Office, and financial reporting tools
- High attention to detail, follow-up ability, and time management
- Ability to manage government authorities and respond to notices independently
Preferred Profile
- Chartered Accountant with 10-16 years of experience in taxation, statutory compliance, treasury, audit coordination, and financial operations.
- Experience handling regulatory authorities and managing compliance for large organizations/trusts is an added advantage.
