Strategic Advisory & Deal Execution:

- Lead and deliver high-quality work across the following areas, working closely with the Practice Head to meet client and project requirements while ensuring rigour, timeliness and completeness of all deliverables.

- Lead engagement teams on strategic, commercial and M&A advisory mandates across Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining, Energy and Infrastructure.

- Working closely with client teams, off-takers, lenders and other stakeholders on-ground.

- Build a deep understanding of the commercial and contractual implications of PSCs, JOAs and other O&G contracts, specifically for project and asset financing.

- Drive complex financial modelling and valuation work, analyzing key business drivers and running scenario and sensitivity analysis to support investment, M&A and divestiture decisions.

- Guide the design and development of commercial and growth strategies for clients through structured research, benchmarking and analysis.

- Own the quality of client reports, information memoranda, deal notes and board-level presentations.

Client & Stakeholder Engagement:

- Build and manage senior client relationships across corporates, sovereign entities and institutional investors.

- Independently manage day-to-day client engagement, anticipating and responding to changing requirements and priorities.

- Lead the design of solutions that best address client needs, translating requirements into actionable work plans for the team.

Business Development:

- Lead sector, geography and competitor research to identify and originate new business opportunities across Oil & Gas, Metals & Mining and Infrastructure.

- Own proposal development and client pitches, working with the Practice Head on positioning and win strategy.

Educational Qualification and Experience:

- Master's/MBA in Finance, Economics or a related discipline from a premier institute.

- CFA / relevant professional certification will be an asset.

- 10+ years of experience at international banks, energy majors (Oil & Gas, Energy, Metals & Mining), infrastructure funds, or Big 4 transaction teams is preferred.

- Proven track record in M&A advisory and valuation assignments within the specified sectors.

- Strong analytical skills with mastery of Excel, complex financial models, valuation techniques, and commercials.

- Sound understanding of PSCs, O&G contracts and Public-Private Partnership (PPP) structures.

- Ability to thrive in fast paced, high stakes environments with complex cross border transactions.

- Ability to lead and develop multicultural, multidisciplinary teams.

- Excellent stakeholder management and attention to detail.
