Associate Director/Director/Senior Director - Rider Marketplace & Network Operations

- Role Overview We are looking for a marketplace operations leader to build, scale, and own rider marketplace a single supply pool that fulfills demand across SMB and enterprise customers. The central mandate of this role is to unify SMB and enterprise demand into one high-utilization rider marketplace: one pool serving every demand stream at the lowest cost-to-serve and highest reliability. You will own supply growth, marketplace liquidity, fulfillment efficiency, rider economics, and operating systems end to end. Reports to: Co-founder / Business Head, Location: Delhi NCR (network expansion to follow)

Key Responsibilities:

Unified Marketplace & Supply Operations:

- Build, scale, and own a unified rider marketplace across SMB and enterprise demand.

- Drive marketplace liquidity through rider supply-demand balancing and utilization.

- Own rider lifecycle: acquisition, onboarding, activation, retention, engagement, and productivity.

- Own rider economics, cost-to-serve, and operational efficiency.

Network Planning & Fulfillment Excellence:

- Lead supply planning, demand matching, peak-hour coverage, and SLA adherence.

- Drive KPIs including fill rate, rider utilization, idle time, and cost per order.

Product-Led Operations:

- Partner with Product, Data, and Engineering to solve bottlenecks through technology and automation.

- Improve allocation logic, dispatch, rider incentives, and marketplace intelligence.

Supply Growth & Integrity:

- Lead rider acquisition, activation, referral funnels, and local partnerships.

- Ensure rider pool integrity and fraud prevention in partnership with Risk and Data.

Team Leadership:

- Build and lead marketplace operations teams across clusters and cities.

- Drive execution rigor, stakeholder alignment, and data-driven decision-making.

What We're Looking For:

- Strong experience in hyperlocal logistics, marketplace operations, quick commerce, mobility, or last-mile fulfillment.

- Proven experience scaling rider/fleet supply in high-growth environments.

- Strong understanding of supply economics, rider productivity, utilization, and cost-to-serve.

- Experience driving supply outcomes through execution and systems/process improvements.

- Strong analytical mindset, stakeholder management, and leadership capabilities.

- Comfortable operating in fast-scaling, ambiguous environments.
