
Role Overview
We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Associate Director / Director of Pricing to lead our pricing strategy and execution.
This leadership role will be responsible for developing innovative pricing models, optimizing revenue, and ensuring competitive positioning while aligning pricing initiatives with overall business objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess deep analytical expertise, strong commercial acumen, and excellent leadership capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Pricing Leadership:
- Develop and execute comprehensive pricing strategies that drive profitability, market share, and revenue growth across product lines and markets.
- Lead the design and implementation of dynamic pricing models based on market research, competitive intelligence, and customer insights.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Management, and Legal teams to ensure pricing alignment with go-to-market strategies and corporate goals.
- Influence key stakeholders and executive leadership with data-driven insights and pricing recommendations.
Pricing Governance & Compliance:
- Establish and maintain pricing policies, approval processes, and governance frameworks to ensure consistency and compliance.
- Monitor pricing trends, regulatory changes, and industry developments to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities.
Data Analysis & Market Intelligence:
- Oversee pricing analytics, forecasting, and reporting to evaluate pricing effectiveness and identify areas for improvement.
- Utilize advanced analytical tools and models to assess price elasticity, discounting impacts, and competitive positioning.
Team Leadership & Development:
- Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing pricing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Set clear performance goals, conduct regular reviews, and provide coaching to support career growth.
Customer & Market Focus:
- Understand customer value perception and segment pricing to maximize value capture.
- Lead competitive pricing analysis and benchmark studies to inform strategic decisions.
Candidate Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 6+ years of progressive experience in pricing strategy, revenue management, or related roles
- Proven experience managing pricing teams and leading cross-functional initiatives.
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills with proficiency in pricing software, BI tools, and Excel modeling.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to influence at all organizational levels.
- Strategic thinker with a track record of delivering measurable business impact through pricing optimization.
- Familiarity with contract negotiation, discount management, and pricing compliance
