Job Requirement:

- Strong experience in Detailed Design Engineering of Electrical System for Data Center Projects.

- Strong understanding of inter & intra-disciplinary interfaces.

- Design Standardization.

- Preparation & review of Request for Proposals for Long Lead Equipment like MV Switchgear, LV Switchgear, Distribution Transformers, UPS's, Batteries, DG's, Busducts, etc.

- Liaise with consultants & vendors to ensure seamless closure of technical evaluation of Electrical equipment & Low side contractors to facilitate Procurement.

- Selection, evaluation & recommendation of Suppliers to Supply Chain team.

- Design Optimization, Design Coordination, Review & Approvals.

- New technologies Evaluation, Initiatives and Introduction.

- Development of Phasing Strategy for Electrical System.

- Capex preparation and budget control for Electrical System.

- SME support to site execution teams & Operations.

- Active support in project implementation, quality Check and Testing Commissioning activity.

- Energy efficient Design & Implementation

- Customer's requirement discovery & feasibility study for electrical system.

KPIs:

- Data Center Electrical system requirement discovery, understanding & Solutioning.

- Managing inter & intra disciplinary interfaces.

- Contribute to RFPs, bid proposals, contracts, Scope of Work finalization, and other aspects of DC Operations

- Accuracy of bid documents in terms of technical correctness of Scope, specifications, quantities & Division of responsibility identification.

- Ability to identify Deviations, analyse & evaluate, decide on criticality while making procurement decisions.

- Evaluation, Benchmarking, Initiatives and Introduction of New technologies - Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging technologies in the data centre space.

- Data Center Electrical System Designing both high level & low level, Design verification

- Sound understanding of Building Codes & Electrical Standards (Safety & Compliance)

- Verification & Review of Electrical System BOQ (Bill of quantity), Specifications & TDS

- Standardization of the Electrical System Design, Equipment Specifications

- Coordination with cross functional team

- Maintain Procurement Tracker, Issue MIS.

- Develop, implement and manage key performance

EDUCATION QUALIFICATION Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering.

WORK EXPERIENCE (Minimum years of experience required) - 20+ years of experience in Electrical Consulting, Electrical System Design, Critical Power System Design with Minimum 5 Years of Experience in Data Center Design / Engineering

SKILLS:

(Technical aspects)

1. Strong knowledge of:

- Detailed electrical design calculations

- Single Line diagrams - MV & LV

- Electrical system design - Equipment & Layouts.

- In depth knowledge of critical components like Generators, UPS, HV, MV & LV panels, Transformers, Bus duct systems, Cable reticulation system.

- Design calculation Software's like ETAP, Lighting design software with ability to analyse reports & suggest mitigating measures.

- Critical review of Vendor drawings of Electrical equipment

2. Proficiency in procurement activities.

3. Sound understanding of SCADA / EPMS System

4. Good understanding of BIM / BIM 360 environment.
