About the Role:
We are looking for a high-performing Associate Director Digital Marketing to lead the digital growth and brand performance of our FMCG e-commerce business. This individual will be responsible for crafting data-driven marketing strategies that drive traffic, conversions, and long-term customer loyalty across digital channels.
The ideal candidate brings a blend of brand storytelling and performance marketing expertise, thrives in a fast-paced consumer environment, and has a proven record of delivering measurable business impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Design and implement full-funnel digital marketing strategies to drive user acquisition, retention, and engagement.
- Align marketing initiatives with business goals growth, market share, and profitability.
Performance Marketing:
- Lead ROI-driven campaigns across Google, Meta, YouTube, Amazon, Flipkart, and emerging D2C channels.
- Manage large-scale media budgets, optimize CAC, ROAS, and LTV across platforms.
Brand & Content Strategy:
- Build and amplify the brands digital presence through creative storytelling, influencer marketing, and community engagement.
- Collaborate with internal brand, content, and creative teams to ensure consistent messaging across touchpoints.
Analytics & Insights:
- Leverage data and analytics tools to evaluate performance, identify growth opportunities, and optimize spend.
- Present insights to leadership with clear, actionable recommendations.
Team & Partner Management:
- Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of digital marketers, performance specialists, and content strategists.
- Manage external media, creative, and influencer agencies to deliver high-impact campaigns efficiently.
Key Requirements:
- 7-14 years of experience in digital marketing, preferably with E-commerce or FMCG / D2C consumer brands.
- Strong pedigree from a Tier-1 institute (IIM / ISB / XLRI / MDI / FMS / IIT or equivalent) mandatory.
- Proven experience in managing end-to-end digital campaigns across performance, social, and content channels.
- Deep understanding of consumer journeys, FMCG brand marketing, and e-commerce growth levers.
- Proficiency with analytics and marketing tools (GA4, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, CRM, and automation platforms).
- Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
