Associate Director - Data Product Owner

Purpose:

Lead the design, development, and execution of data reporting products supporting regulatory, client, and management reporting for Fidelity's Investment Solutions & Services (ISS) division.

Key Responsibilities

- Define and own the data product vision, strategy, and roadmap.

- Manage data outcomes for distribution, client propositions, and regulatory reporting.

- Lead a team of data analysts; guide backlog management and delivery in an Agile setup.

- Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance standards are met.

- Collaborate with data architecture, business, and technology teams.

- Engage with senior stakeholders to align on strategy and priorities.

Mandatory Skills & Experience

- 15+ years in financial services/asset management focusing on data-led solutions.

- 5-10 years as a Data Product Owner or similar leadership role.

- Strong understanding of investment data domains - client lifecycle, CRM, transfer agency, ABOR/IBOR, fund data, and reporting.

- Familiar with data platforms like Oracle, Snowflake, Aladdin, SimCorp Dimension, Refinitiv, or FactSet.

- Knowledge of European regulations (MiFID II, EMIR, SFDR) and ESG reporting.

- Exposure to data governance, data modeling (dimensional/data vault), and data quality frameworks.

- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills:

- Familiarity with Salesforce, Python, SQL, and Advanced Excel.

- Experience with automation, AI/ML concepts, or cost optimization in data reporting.
