Role Overview
As an Associate Director in the Corporate Finance team, the individual will build and nurture strong working relationships with teams and clients while driving successful transaction execution and delivering exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities :
End-to-end transaction execution :
- Generate ideas and leads for new projects and support business development initiatives across banking, NBFCs, insurance, asset management, fintech, and other financial services segments
- Support sector coverage, industry research, financial products analysis, valuation exercises, and thought leadership preparation
- Ensure high-quality deliverables and effective stakeholder management
- Lead and mentor teams while driving transaction and project closures
- Manage and deliver client engagements within the Financial Services sector
- Develop high-performing teams and contribute towards strategic client solutions
Desired Qualifications
- CA qualified / MBA (CFA or premier institute preferred)
- 8-11 years of relevant experience in investment banking, equity research, or private equity within the Financial Services sector
- Strong understanding of financial services companies, transactions, industry benchmarks, and key metrics
- Excellent academic track record
- Strong report writing, reviewing, and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel and financial modelling expertise
- Strong commercial acumen and market awareness
- Understanding of transaction documentation and negotiation points
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to multitask across multiple engagements
- Candidates from premier investment banks or Big 4 firms preferred
- Frequent travel to client locations may be required
