Associate Director - Control Tower

Key Responsibilities:

Supply Chain Monitoring & Visibility:

- Monitor end-to-end supply chain operations through Control Tower dashboards and reporting tools.

- Track inventory, production, transportation, and customer order status across the supply chain network.

- Provide real-time visibility of critical supply chain metrics and operational performance.

Exception Management:

- Identify supply chain exceptions such as delayed shipments, inventory shortages, capacity constraints, supplier issues, and transportation disruptions.

- Assess business impact and prioritize incidents based on customer and operational requirements.

- Coordinate corrective actions with internal and external stakeholders.

Order Fulfillment Management:

- Monitor customer order fulfillment performance and delivery commitments.

- Track critical and high-priority customer orders.

- Collaborate with customer service, logistics, and planning teams to ensure on-time delivery.

Inventory & Supply Monitoring:

- Analyze inventory levels across warehouses and distribution centers.

- Identify potential stockout, excess inventory, and aging inventory risks.

- Support inventory balancing and replenishment decisions.

Logistics Coordination:

- Monitor inbound and outbound shipments.

- Coordinate with carriers, freight forwarders, and logistics providers to resolve transportation issues.

- Support contingency planning for shipment delays and disruptions.

Stakeholder Communication:

- Act as the central communication point for supply chain exceptions and escalations.

- Conduct daily operational reviews with planning, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and customer service teams.

- Provide timely updates to management regarding critical risks and recovery actions.

Performance Reporting & Analytics:

- Develop and maintain operational dashboards and KPI reports.

- Analyze supply chain trends and identify opportunities for process improvement.

- Support root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives.

Continuous Improvement:

- Identify recurring operational issues and recommend process improvements.

- Participate in supply chain optimization and digital transformation initiatives.

- Support implementation of Control Tower best practices and standard operating procedures.
