About the Role:
ANSR is seeking an Associate Director - Compensation & Benefits (Total Rewards) to join our People, Organization & Culture (POC) Consulting practice. This role focuses on designing, shaping and implementing Total Rewards strategies for fast-scaling GCCs-particularly in technology-led organizations.
As a Senior Consultant, you will engage closely with CHROs, business leaders, and Total Rewards CoEs, bringing deep subject-matter expertise to solve compensation challenges, build future-ready rewards frameworks, and drive market-leading C&B practices across assessment, design, and implementation.

Key Responsibilities
Consulting & Solution Design
- Lead the development of Total Rewards consulting products tailored for emerging and scaling GCCs, especially in the Technology sector.
- Deliver high-impact client solutions across:
a. Market benchmarking (compensation & benefits)
b. Pay range design and implementation
c. Benefits strategy and structuring
d. Compensation architecture and job-levelling alignment
e. Budgeting, workforce cost planning, and annual rewards cycle design
f. Statutory compliance and regulatory impact assessment
Client Delivery & Project Leadership
- Independently manage C&B consulting modules, ensuring high-quality, insight-driven recommendations.
- Present findings and solutions to senior client stakeholders in a clear, structured and compelling manner.
- Partner with established ANSR GCCs to provide advisory support and implement specific rewards projects.
Insights, Research & Thought Leadership
- Conduct market and industry research; develop whitepapers, insights and trend analysis on the Total Rewards landscape.
- Bring a strong point of view on compensation trends, evolving workforce models, global pay governance, and GCC-specific C&B priorities.
Policy, Processes & Change Management
- Design and implement compensation-related policies aligned with organizational strategy.
- Build training materials, job aids, FAQs, and other change enablement assets to support smooth adoption of new rewards programs.
Experience and Requirements
Required Experience and Skills:
- 8-16 years of experience in HR consulting and at least 5 years of hands-on Total Rewards expertise (regional/global preferred).
- Deep knowledge of Compensation & Benefits frameworks, including structure design, benchmarking, benefits strategy, and rewards governance.
- Proven capability in solving complex client problems using analytical, data-driven approaches.
- Strong ability to manage multiple priorities, operate with agility, and adapt to evolving client needs.
- Demonstrated excellence in stakeholder management, with the ability to influence senior leaders and collaborate across matrix environments.
- Track record of delivering people & change consulting solutions across:
- Total Rewards Strategy
a. Communications & Stakeholder Engagement
b. Change Management (strategy, planning and execution)
- Experience working in a CoE environment and/or as an external advisor to global clients.
- Exceptional attention to detail, strong accountability, and a commitment to quality.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex analyses clearly and persuasively
Preferred Experience and Skills:
- Experience working within or consulting for scaling Global Capability Centers
- End-to-end experience across Assessment - Design - Implementation for Total Rewards projects
- High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
Qualification and Certifications:
- MBA (HR), MSW, or MA in HR/Organizational Development from a leading institution
- Certifications such as SPHR / GPHR are an advantage
